Subscription Director



Position Summary

iPEC is seeking a Director of Subscriptions to join our team and play a key role in pursuing our growth objectives for 2021. The Director will work on developing the brand and marketing strategy for the launch of a subscription platform that will cater to the iPEC community, coaches, mindful practitioners and beyond. The position will be responsible for launching our subscription program and growing our subscriber base while increasing the lifetime value of our customers. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop brand and marketing strategy that will drive subscriber acquisition, conversion, retention & efficiency
  • Set the foundation for the subscription program including: identifying and onboarding subscription platform, ensuring data integration, sourcing and creating content and developing a beta launch plan. 
  • Build, manage and lead a team to manage all aspects of the beta launch as well as the acquisition strategy inclusive of paid and organic channels. 
  • Optimize budget to deliver positive return on marketing spend
  • Ensure meeting all KPIs & forecasted goals and pacing accordingly
  • Develop a robust, performance-based test & learn plan, with a prioritized focus on the biggest opportunities. 
  • Create effective lifecycle marketing campaigns that creates a seamless opportunity to upsell and cross-sell the iPEC suite of products
  • Partner with agencies & tech partners to lead overall cross-channel media planning efforts, identify appropriate audiences & create detailed media plan
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams across the company including sales, operations, curriculum, finance and analytics. 

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with paid subscription products or retention strategies
  • Experience across multiple aspects of the customer journey: acquisition, activation, retention, engagement
  • Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact marketing initiatives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.Ability to distill and present key goals and outcomes for senior management and the organization at large
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage/execute multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment; Experience working in a remote office setting
