The IT Engineer of Business Systems will help lead a technical IT team, vendors, and contract resources to ensure business systems objectives of a highly integrated and automated digital environment, coordinate and track the progress of projects established by defined milestones and objectives. This role needs to have a willingness to serve the organization, as well as our students and customers. The right candidate has a mature, collaborative but decisive personal style and is a highly effective communicator and problem solver.  He/she will need to have high energy, a consistent work ethic and a transformational mindset. This role will report to the Manager of Business systems.  

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Implementation of new technologies and processes including but not limited to mobile and web applications, integrations, Learning Management Systems (LMS), CRM, custom software development and ERP/Financial systems. 
  • Ensure best practices are being followed by the engineering team (Agile, ITIL)
  • Ability to support company systems and data architecture, development of online presence and maintenance, test program release upgrades, assist with data cleansing, deduplication, and data maintenance efforts. 
  • Master general company applications for troubleshooting purposes, document, maintain and update system-level customizations, as well as training documentation.
  • Work with team on projects following PMO best practices, providing technical resource for PM’s 
  • Provide support for on/off boarding employee’s  
  • Active contributor for process improvement and review
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for all IPEC systems including NetSuite, Infusion soft, Hub spot, AWS, Azure, Word press) and any other SAAS applications in the future. 
  • Work closely with the IT manager on IT and Business Systems support company wide. This includes the development and cultivation of both the business and technical team with project/department deadlines
  • Trouble shoot and implement new technologies into the infrastructure environment 
  • After hours and weekends availability for troubleshooting, implementation of systems and project initiatives 
  • Work with NetSuite deployment consultants for configuration changes to fields, workflows (Suite Flows), SuiteScripts, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards.
  • Create comprehensive technical system documentation and provide training to the organization
  • Vendor management – work with vendors from time to time on multiple initiatives 

 



Technical Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of ERP (NetSuite) experience including customizations and workflows. 
  • Experience with ERP platform development (NetSuite) suite script 1.0 & 2.0 and Suite soft 
  • 6+ years of experience with SAAS and Cloud based infrastructure and Applications 
  • Understanding of Full Stack (SQL) development with emphasis on back end technologies (server side) for web and mobile technologies on a modern cloud solution (Azure or AWS)
  • 2 years of Dev op’s experience
  • Knowledge of privacy and security compliance and controls (GDPR, SOX, SOC, CCPA) 
  • G Suite administration expert 
  • Hub Spot CRM and Infusion soft Implementation and management experience including API’s
  • Experience with best practices and procedures to ensure professional product deployment (Agile, ITIL) 
  • Strong API (REST, SOAP), webhook and iPaaS Implementation and management experience
  • Strong experience with video conference and Webinar software (Zoom, Teams) 
  • Integrations management in including managed API’s and Webhooks, System syncs for customer and transactional data for system accuracy and triggered automations.
  • 3+ year scripting language programming including server-side scripting
  • Word press experience a plus 
  • At least 1 up to date certification in IT discipline’s (Agile, ITIL, Scrum, Six Sigma) 
  • 3 years of experience with Implementing and supporting LMS systems 
  • Experience in IT support for an educational institute a big plus
