What is the role of the Admissions Coach?

The Admissions Coach is the primary point of contact for prospective students and is responsible for all aspects of the admissions sales cycle from initial inquiry to student enrollment. They work with prospective students by setting and taking phone appointments, exhibiting active listening, and coaching prospective students on their vision using our signature Energetic Sales Process.  This role is designed for an individual with an abundance of Level 5 Energy, a competitive/entrepreneurial spirit, a sales background, and with the ability and desire to create opportunities. 


We ask you in your role of admissions coach to: 

  • Be dedicated to the position for 40 hours per week. 
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals by utilising the Energetic Sales Process
  • Understand where prospective students are in making a decision about the enrollment process - and adjust the coaching conversation accordingly.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity: utilize coaching skills with prospective students and organizations to qualify them for the iPEC training and then identify, understand, and help overcome challenges and barriers to enrollment.
  • Effectively navigate frequent changes and/or unexpected events with an anabolic energetic contribution to the tasks at hand as well as to the team.
  • Demonstrate strong sales acumen, including outreach to create prospective student appointments, proactive strategies for lead generation, and effective follow up with prospects in the pipeline. 
  • Be a very well organized self-starter with a high attention to detail, ability to follow processes while thinking out of the box, and able to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Responsible for all aspects of the admissions sales cycle from initial inquiry to student enrollment
  • Properly process new enrollments, including administrative tasks required in CRM and other required systems.
  • Possess an unwavering commitment to excellence.
  • Master product knowledge.
  • Function within the policies and procedures of iPEC.
  • Keep abreast of best practices, changes to the iPEC program and top competitive programs.
  • Consistently show up anabolically in relation to teammates; make a positive contribution to a 6/5 team and organization.
  • Accept other responsibilities as assigned.

We are looking for the following education, certification & experience:

  • Degree strongly preferred
  • 2+ years consultative sales experience strongly preferred (inbound/outbound, B to C and/or B to B, phone sales experience a plus)
  • iPEC Certified Professional Coach, ACC accreditation or higher is strongly preferred
  • ELI- MP Certified strongly preferred
  • Fluency in English 
  • Proven track record of success in meeting sales goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective follow-up skills; presentation skills a plus
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and go with the flow 


We are looking for the following technical requirements:

  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications (Google Suite and Hubspot)
  • Knowledge of Call Center telephony and technology (or willingness to quickly learn)
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn CRM/Sales/Finance systems and workflows
  • Internet speed connection minimum 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload on a stable connection
  • Own equipment required for the role, laptop, headset, etc of sufficient quality to deliver the role at the level required. 
  • Strong aptitude for time zones
