Analytics Growth Manager 

 

Position Summary

The Analytics Growth Manager will lead efforts to provide accurate, insightful, action-oriented information and analyses across the organization (marketing, operations, student support, etc).The candidate will lead data analysis, such as, customer segmentation, marketing spend efficiency and customer behavior mining in order to spur growth and develop new business opportunities. The position is remote and reports to the CMO and has one direct report (shared resource).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to build a strong data-driven culture through storytelling with data, kick-starting innovative new projects, and shaping the growth strategy
  • Lead business analysis of customer and business metrics. Provide guidance and frameworks for designing and developing models and analyses across multiple domains including marketing (online/offline marketing mix, multi-touch attribution, multivariate testing) and customer behavior (site traffic, purchase activity, acquisition/retention, predicting lifetime value).
  • Build a data infrastructure and develop the architecture of how we collect and link raw customer data across the site and devices
  • Drive a culture of continuous testing, leading efforts to run AB and multivariate experiments throughout the site
  • Accountable for daily and weekly dashboards. Delivers timely, accurate dashboards for weekly business review meetings and facilitates discussions regarding prior week business performance versus plans and forecasts and any actionable next steps to help drive results.
  • Participates in annual growth planning efforts and in-year forecasting efforts and communicates forecasts on a regular basis to key stakeholders.
  • Accountable for analytics platform relationships and all related product and vendor evaluations, upgrades, invoices, and annual budgeting activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in customer & data analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analysis that drives business initiatives.
  • Previous experience analyzing both online and offline marketing programs as well as working in a SaaS, B2B or Sales oriented industry.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data/results.
  • Experience and expertise with financial, statistical, and marketing concepts.
  • Experience working with relational databases through tools such as SQL, PHP, R and Shiny R Studio preferred.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytical techniques such as clustering, decision trees, logistic regression, and recommendation systems is highly desirable.
  • Consistently works well with a diverse group of colleagues and team members with a supportive attitude.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication. Ability to take data and synthesize into an easy to follow presentation.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage/execute multiple projects simultaneously.
